Who I Work With

I have experience working with a broad spectrum of individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues in outpatient, residential, inpatient, and emergency department settings.

I have worked with people that come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. This includes people with advanced degrees to people without much formal education who required a translator to communicate.

I specialize in working with people who struggle with profound mental health issues, issues related to addiction, and those who feel a need for the support of meeting at a higher frequency than one session per week.

I work best with people who want to better understand themselves, their family history, their traumas and emotional wounds, their lives, and how their own mind works. These types of people are often sensitive, creative and can suffer profoundly at times. They may struggle with an overall sense of feeling stuck or dissatisfied in some way at this time in their lives, to those who may experience severe and longstanding psychological issues. People frequently seek me out after being reluctant to see a therapist or who may have had experiences in the past of not feeling understood in therapy.
